I started my photography journey in the fall of 2019, just for fun. Over the last few years, it has grown into something I never could have imagined!
I am beyond blessed with so many amazing couples and families who let me document their stories.

our life
My husband Waylon and live in Clinton, MO. We have two sweet little boys, Cohen and Coleman. We LOVE to travel and the mountains are our favorite place to be (ahem, Estes Park). We've spent the last year playing fixer-upper on our old house, which has been so much fun. Needless to say, we don't do things as well as Chip and Jo. Either way, we have a ton of fun together and love our little life out in the country.
my shooting style
Sure, it's great to read fun facts about my life, but let's be honest. You probably want to know my approach to posing and shooting. You probably want to know "if you're going to look awkward in the pictures."
DON'T WORRY. During a session, we'll start with more "poses" where I'll direct you on exactly what to do. As you loosen up, we'll incorporate more movement into the photos, such as walking, spinning, or maybe even running. I focus on your genuine connection with each other, rather than just "ok, now smile at the camera." My goal is to get those in-between moments that capture the love and happiness you have for each other.
I'm not the photographer for everyone, and that's totally okay. If you're looking for more posed, fine art portraits with fancy lighting, I'm not the girl for you. No hard feelings.
However, if you're looking for a more laid-back approach to photography and love the candid emotions that come through less "posed" photographs, then let's do this thing!
